Woman's Body Found in Chelmsford Woods
Police believe the body to be that of a Lowell woman missing since Oct. 25.

A woman’s body was discovered in the woods off Technology Drive in Chelmsford Monday afternoon.
Chelmsford Police Chief James Spinney said in a statement that the body is that of a woman in her 60s.
According to a press release, authorities believe the body to be that of a Lowell woman who went missing on Oct. 25. Elga Crespo, 67, wandered away from her Tulip Lane home in Lowell near the Chelmsford town line. Her disappearance sparked a multi-department search. Lowell Police were called to the scene Monday to aid in the identification.

The woman’s body was found in a thick wooded area off Technology Drive between a restaurant and the parking lot of the Environmental Protection Agency facility in Chelmsford, according to a press release.
The death is under investigation by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, but there are no obvious signs of foul play, according to a statement.
