Concord PD Arrests Boston Man In Connection With Bank Robbery
The robbery happened Monday at the Citizens Bank on Lowell Road.

CONCORD, MA — A Boston man was arrested on Thursday in connection with a bank robbery that happened in Concord on Monday.
The 45-year-old man from Hyde Park was charged with robbery, armed and masked.
The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. on Monday at the Citizen's Bank on Lowell Road in Concord. Concord police and detectives started a preliminary investigation of the robbery. The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services unit provided assistance with the investigation.

Once the investigation led authorities to the man's identity, an arrest warrant was issued on Thursday.
“I am pleased to see a quick arrest of this dangerous person,” Concord Chief Joseph O’Connor said. “This case demonstrates the importance of our law enforcement partnerships and I want to thank all who were involved in the investigation for their efforts.”

The man was arrested in Boston on Thursday and is expected to be arraigned in Concord District Court at a later date.
