Concord PD Warn About Resurgence Of Car Break-ins

A familiar break-in pattern has returned to one street in town and police are warning residents to keep their cars locked.

CONCORD, MA — Concord police are warning residents that a familiar break-in pattern has hit one street in town again. Several cars on Independence Road in Concord were reported broken into overnight.

Residents on the street told police their cars were left unlocked and when they checked the cars on Tuesday morning, they saw they had been entered.

The preliminary investigation has revealed a total of four cars were entered on Independence Rd. and five cars were targeted on Partridge Lane. Cash and miscellaneous items were taken. All vehicles were unlocked.

This series of car breaks follows a similar set which occurred on July 29. Police are reminding residents to keep their cars locked and take valuable items with them inside.
