Concord School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

CONCORD, MA — The first day of school in Concord is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Concord School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/28: 9th Grade Orientation
• 8/29: Students' First Day
• 8/31: No School

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/6: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades K-5)
• 11/8: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades 9-12)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21: Half Day
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/6: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades 6-8)
• 12/12: Early Release Day (Concord-Carlisle High School)
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/2: Classes Resume
