Concord Traffic: Mill And Fill Work Starts Thursday

CONCORD, MA — Starting Thursday and into next week, localized roadway resurfacing work will start town-wide.

The work entails the mechanical milling of the top 1-1/2 inches of roadway surface and repaving at a later date.

Localized areas of roadway resurfacing include:

• Commonwealth Avenue (near #25)
• Elm Street (near bridge)
• Old Marlboro Road
• Main Street (at Thoreau Street)
• ORNAC,
• Garrison Road
• Hawthorne Lane (at Triangle)

Heavy equipment will be present and on so residents can expect some noise. Alternating traffic will be maintained, however, expect localized delays near the construction crews.
