Person Hit By Train At West Concord Commuter Rail Station

A man was taken to the hospital for what a spokesperson from the MBTA is calling a serious leg injury.

Both Main Street and Bradford Street off of Commonwealth Ave. were blocked off for quite some time, causing massive delays on both the street and the remainder of trains on the Fitchburg Line.

CONCORD, MA — A man was struck by a train at the West Concord MBTA station Tuesday, according to authorities.

Police say a crash happened around 3:30 p.m., sending a man to the hospital for what a person from the MBTA is calling a serious leg injury.

The MBTA says they are continuing to investigate facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
