Police Logs for June 8 through June 10

The following information was supplied by the CPD. These do not indicate conviction.

 

Friday, June 8 

12:23 a.m.: Fireworks reported at Emerson Field. Area checked, area clear.

4:50 a.m.: Report of dog barking outside all evening on Lowell Road.

4:59 a.m.: Driver was issued a summons for driving without a license and no inspection sticker near 265 Bedford Road and 1 Virginia Road.

7:48 a.m.: Report of a vehicle traveling at approximately 120 mph on Route 2 westbound. Vehicle gone on arrival.

9:29 a.m.: A Subaru Forester and a Subaru Impreza were involved in an accident near 290 Powder Mill Road. Papers exchanged, minor damage no injuries.

10:34 a.m.: Report of a dog jumping on the hood of a vehicle. The owner of the dog then went into the woods and did not identify herself. The parties resolved the situation.

10:53 a.m.: A Toyota Highlander and a Toyota Camry were involved in a car accident near 57 Commonwealth Ave. Minor damage reported.

11:22 a.m.: Report of cars illegally parked at 100 Walden St. Citations issued.

2:26 p.m.: Tree work reported blocking the road on Garfield and Sudbury Road. Area clear.

3:48 p.m.: Report that a refrigerator fell off on the road on Route 2 near Walden Street. The generator fell in the median, was not a hazard. Mass Highway Dept. will handle it.

4:56 p.m.: Resident found a wallet on Elm Street and dropped it off at the station.

5:07 p.m.: Small vehicle blocking alleyway leading to Camella’s. Vehicle parked in new 2 Hour Parking zone.

6:05 p.m.: Report of a lost wallet near Crosby’s Market and Independence Dive.

7:20 p.m.: Reports of injured dog limping in area of tennis courts at Emerson Field. Dog belongs to person using the tennis courts. No issue.

8:04 p.m.: Report of construction noises at 43 Bradford St. Workers were finishing up for the night.

8:24 p.m.: Teenagers reported making noise on White’s Pond Beach. The group dispersed.

8:38 p.m.: Report of beagle missing in the area of Peter Spring Road.

9:18 p.m.: Reports of possible underage drinking near Hill Street. Police responded, found parents on the scene, no issue.

10:12 p.m.: Construction workers working on house on the corner of Hubbard and Thoreau Street. Party contacted, shutting down for the night.

 

Saturday, June 9

12:32 a.m.: Reports of a Chrysler operating erratically on Bedford Street heading towards Concord Center. Concord State Police and Acton Police to respond.

9:13 a.m.: Report of parked vehicle on both sides of the street, making only one lane open by Main Street and Wood Street. Driver was informed to park on one side of the street.

10:06 a.m.: Dead cat in the street at 336 Lexington Rd.

10:54 a.m.: Reports of stolen ladders at 121 Mattison Drive.

11:41 a.m.: Report of Jehovah’s Witness solicitors driving on Old Pickard Road. Safety concern because kids were in the driveway. The police were unable to locate the vehicle.

1:13 p.m.: A Toyota Camry and a Jeep were involved in a collision at CCHS. No injuries reported. Toyota driver was issued a citation for failure to use care.

2:39 p.m.: Report of odor of gas at 13 Derby Street. National Grid responded.

2:43 p.m.: Vehicle reported parked on the sidewalk near 5 Everett Gardens. Neighbors were unloading the vehicle, it would be moved shortly.

4:10 p.m.: Wire reported down near 101 Shore Drive and 115 Dover Street. CMPL on the scene, wire removed.

7:26 p.m.: Green Jeep tailgating on Lawsbrook Road. Male driver got out of vehicle and started yelling.

7:54 p.m.: Power outage reported at 368 College Ave.

10:10 p.m.: Report of a loud party across the river at Mesketaquid Road. DJ was ending the set at 10:30 p.m.

11:33 p.m.: Party reported playing basketball. Officers spoke to the youths, who agreed to cease playing for the night.

 

Sunday, June 10

12:47 a.m.: Disabled vehicle near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. ProTech Towing enroute.

2:23 a.m.: Vehicle with interior lights left on at CCHS.

6:39 a.m.: Two subjects reportedly engaged in suspicious activities on Lexington Road. The subjects checked out ok and were sent on their way.

7:19 a.m.: Citation issued to driver for operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle on Sudbury Road and the Concord Turnpike.

9:12 a.m.: Party called to report lost wallet.

10:13 a.m.: Lost small white dog, party brought the dog to soccer field in Sudbury.

11:54 a.m.: Hit and run reported near Newbury Court.

12:32 p.m.: Audi vandalized in the parking lot at Middlesex School.

12:39 p.m.: Motorist reported that a small blue gate cover was sticking out of roadway on Route 2. Water gate covered, no further service needed.

12:44 p.m.:  A Toyota and a Chevy were involved in a minor damage on Sudbury Road, paperwork exchanged.

1:20 p.m.: Dog reported locked inside a vehicle was left there briefly. No services needed.

1:53 p.m.: A motorcyclist was transported to the Emerson Hospital after taking a fall. Minor injuries reported.

4:16 p.m.: A Nissan and a BMW were involved in an accident near 1241 Elm St. The vehicles were towed and a citation was issued to the Nissan driver for failure to use care.

4:43 p.m.: Tree fallen across the roadway on Garfield Road. Branch was removed.

7:51 p.m.: Suspicious vehicle reported near 105 Musterfield Rd. No vehicles reported in the area.
