Selectmen to Discuss Special Town Meeting Articles

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Oct. 10 in Concord.

1. Selectmen To Talk Special Town Meeting: The Board of Selectmen will meet at 8:45 a.m. Thursday morning at the Town House to discuss warrant articles for December's special Town Meeting. 

2. Other Pubic Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Oct. 10 include the Heywood Meadow Stewardship Committee at 9 a.m., the Historical Commission at 7 p.m., the Finance Committee's Guidelines Subcommittee at 7:30 p.m. and the Board of Appeals at 7:30 p.m.

4. RED: The Tony award-winning play returns to the Emerson Umbrella at 8 p.m. Thursday night. 

5. Cloudy Day, Might Rain Tonight: Should be mostly cloudy today, with a high of 66, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a chance of showers overnight and a low of 46.
