The Town is excited to celebrate Chanukah with a giant menorah lighting held on the Concord Youth Theatre lawn at 53 Church Street on Wednesday, December 1st from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. The celebration will be a night to remember and will include lighting the Menorah with Congregation Kerem Shalom, music, games and demonstrations including traditional dreidel, crafts provided by Concord Recreation, Chanukah stories with the Concord Free Public Library, and “Latkas to go” from Debra’s Natural Gourmet.
On Sunday December 5th, the Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in Concord Center. The parade will travel through the Town center down Walden Street and then right onto Main Street allowing thousands of spectators to witness the best holiday parade in the area! In keeping with the spirit of the season, the parade will again be combined with the annual lighting of the tree in Monument Square; a twinkling spectacle for all to enjoy. Entertainment including carolers, Disney characters, live music, dance performances, crafts, treats, photos with Santa and more will be available to fill your cup with holiday cheer!
