Annual 'Remember a Vet' Program Running in Dedham Through Nov. 10
Find out what items patients staying at the V.A. hospital in West Roxbury need this year.

The Dedham Veterans’ Office is currently working with the V.A. Hospital in West Roxbury to remember veterans by raising donations of “basic everyday items,” according to a recent announcement by local officials.
All donations can be dropped off at the Dedham Veterans’ Office at 26 Bryant St. in Dedham.

The following items are currently being accepted for the program, which runs through Nov. 10:
- Combs/Brushes
- Deodorant
- Soap (Dove or non-drying) & soap holders
- Shaving Cream
- Razors
- Small shaving mirrors (hand held and self-standing)
- Lotion
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Body Powder
- Toothpaste, toothbrushes, toothbrush holders (or caps), dental floss, mouthwash (alcohol free), denture cleaner, denture adhesive, denture cups
- Lip balm
- Nail Clippers
- Emery boards
- Crossword puzzle books, cribbage boards, playing cards, stress balls for hand exercises
