The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was unable to determine the cause of death for Jeffrey Goldstein.

The results of autopsies for two people who died Monday night were released by the Norfolk County District Attorney's office Wednesday afternoon.
The autopsy was unable to determine the cause of death for 41-year-old Jeffrey Goldstein of Dedham, who was found dead inside a room at the Holiday Inn on Ariadne Road in Dedham. No signs of trauma were found and the cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending toxicology testing, according to the DA's office.
Mary MacKinnon, 74, of Norwood, who was found dead inside the Holiday Inn Express in Norwood, died from asphyxia.

Venture Community Services, a residential care facility in Dedham, contacted police at about 7 p.m. Monday after MacKinnon didn't return after leaving with Goldstein, who is a resident of the facility that she had worked with for many years. MacKinnon left the facility early in the morning with Goldstein to transport him to a medical appointment in one of the organization’s transport vans, the DA's office said.
The van was located in the Dedham hotel's parking lot while Goldstein was found dead in a hotel room. He didn't have any obvious signs of trauma or injury.

While the Dedham location was being processed, Norwood Police discovered MacKinnon’s personal vehicle parked in front of the Norwood hotel. Inside a hotel room, they found MacKinnon dead.
The case remains under investigation. The DA's office believes that there is not a threat to the public.
