Dedham Attorney Nominated to MA Family Court
Lee Peterson has been nominated by Charlie Baker to the state Probate and Family Court

Gov. Charlie Baker has nominated Dedham attorney Lee Peterson to the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, which has jurisdiction over wills and estates, child custody and adoption cases.
Since 2005, Peterson has specialized in family and probate law at McCarter & English.
Prior to that, Peterson served as an Assistant Register and Family Service Officer for the Norfolk Probate and Family Court. She was nominated with the other assistant registers of Norfolk County for the Trial Court Employee of the Year Award in 2003.

Peterson is a member of the steering committee of the Family Law Section of the Boston Bar Association and a member of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Inn of Court.
She holds degrees from Boston College, Simmons College School of Social Work and Suffolk University Law School.
