Dedham firefighters extinguished an early morning car blaze on Route 128 northbound Monday.The vehicle was completely engulfed in flames when fire officials arrived at the scene. Car 2 and Engine 2 initially responded to the incident around 6 a.m.

The Westwood fire department assisted at the scene.Crews were able to successfully extinguish the fire. It’s not clear what caused the fire.
