Dedham Man Charged With Stealing From MBTA Back In Court
Stephen Fagerberg is accused of stealing $80,000 from the MBTA.
DEDHAM, MA — A Dedham man accused of stealing $80,000 from the MBTA was back in court this week.
Stephen Fagerberg, 55, appeared in court for a probably cause hearing, according to WHDH.
Fagerberg is accused of stealing money from MBTA collection boxesAuthorities say they conducted an undercover operation that included planting marked bills in fare collection boxes that Fagerberg serviced. It's allege that Fagerberg deposited the marked bills into his personal bank account via a drive-up ATM.

The scheme allegedly netted Fagerberg $80,000 over several months.
