Dedham Police Looking for Suspect Involved in Santander Bank Robbery Wednesday

Dedham police are looking for a suspect involved in a reported unarmed a robbery at the Santander Bank in Dedham on Wednesday.

The incident occurred shortly before 11:09 a.m. on Wednesday, when Dedham police received a report that the Santander Bank at 929 Providence Hwy. had been the victim of an unarmed robbery, with the suspect involved having fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, Dedham police said in a statement.

Officers responded to the scene, where they spoke with witnesses. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with blue pants and work boots. He was last seen fleeing the area and running past an adjacent CVS, according to police.

The incident remains under investigation.
