Dedham Puppy Stolen From Home Sunday Night, Police Seek Help

The Dedham Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the 8-week-old pit bull puppy.

DEDHAM, MA - The Dedham Police Department is seeking the public's help in retrieving an 8-week-old puppy stolen during a home burglary Sunday night.

Police said they responded to a housebreak at 72 Bussey St. Sunday, Oct. 10 at 8:20 p.m. The homeowner said someone had forced their way into the home through the back door while they were gone, stealing a myriad of items and the pit bull puppy.

The puppy is a brindle-colored pit bull female with brown eyes, a white chest, white on her snout and white on her back left paw.

Police said jewelry, cash, footwear, documents and a 2015 Honda CRF450R dirt bike were also stolen. Police describe the dirt bike as having a dual exhaust, pro taper rear sprocket, rental bars, and red and black grips, according to WFXT-TV.
