The Finance & Warrant Committee (FWC) started their series of public meetings on March 16, 2022 to review each article on the 2022 Spring Annual Town Meeting Warrant, including the Town’s proposed operating budget. The next FWC meetings will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 and on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, and the topics and articles for discussion are listed below (posted agendas are linked):

• Dedham Public Schools & Blue Hills Budgets

Tuesday, March 29, 2022

• Article 5 (Prior Year Bills)
• Article 7 (Appropriation to Special Purpose Stabilization Fund)
• Article 8 (Appropriation from Special Purpose Stabilization Fund)
• Article 12 (Reports of Committees; update report will be presented regarding the Master Plan and Dedham Square Planning Committee)
• Article 15 (Appropriation to repair Powder House)
• Article 24 (Special Legislation to continue employment of Fire Chief/Civil Service)
• Article 25 (Special Legislation regarding age requirement for police officers)

The FWC invites the public to attend the FWC meetings as they provide critical information about processes that contribute to developing the annual budget. Each meeting will be held using a hybrid format, allowing residents and taxpayers to attend in-person at Town Hall or to join via Zoom from a computer or mobile device.
