Dedham Woman Killed At Nantasket Beach In Hull
The Plymouth County District Attorney's office confirmed that Nancy Siegel died in a scuba diving incident.

HULL, MA — A Dedham woman died Sunday while scuba diving off of Nantasket Beach in Hull.
At 1:03 p.m., police responded to 911 calls reporting a woman in distress. At the scene, police and firefighters located the victim, identified as 67-year-old Nancy Siegel, who was pulled out of the water. Lifesaving measures were performed on Siegel before she was taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, where she was pronounced dead just past 2 p.m., according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.
Siegel, a certified scuba diver, was at the beach with a group of scuba divers. The cause of death has not been determined. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause.

The incident is under police investigation and her equipment will be examined, as is standard procedure.
