Disorderly Conduct, Warrant Arrest: Dedham Police Log

June 2

12:45 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Route 1, a driver was arrested on a warrant and issued a citation for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

3:22 a.m. - A man throwing debris into the road near Ocean State Job Lot on Route 1 was reported. Police didn’t find a person in the area, but an officer found debris near Pep Boys. A man was seen near the Interstate 95 overpass throwing an orange traffic cone into the road. The man initially ignored commands to stop before entering the Budget Inn in Westwood. Police stopped him from entering the motel and struck him with a taser. The man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and placing trash in a public way.

10:19 a.m. - A person at BJ’s on Route 1 was issued a citation for wrongful use of a handicapped placard.

12:41 p.m. - A person at Legacy Place was issued a citation for wrongful use of a handicapped placard.

1:21 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Grant Avenue, a citation was issued for improper passing and operating with a suspended license.

5:04 p.m. - A person at Legacy Place was issued a citation for wrongful use of a handicapped placard (subsequent offense).

June 3

1:12 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Cedar Street, a driver was arrested on a warrant.
