Gas prices this week plummeted to their lowest levels of the year—dropping below $3 a gallon in some parts of Massachusetts, including in Dedham.

In Dedham, prices reached a low of $2.85 per gallon. Here’s a look at the lowest prices in town as of Thursday, according to GasBuddy:
- Costco (200 Legacy Blvd.): $2.85
- Gulf (2 Washington St. & Oak St.): $2.89 (cash)
- Super Petroleum (405 Providence Hwy. & Washington St.): $2.95
- Gulf (31 Eastern Ave. & Providence Hwy.): $2.99 (cash)
- Stop & Shop (160 Providence Hwy.): $3.03
The average price of gas statewide was $3.26. Prices have been driven down by low demand and abundant supplies, according to the Associated Press.
