The Dedham Fire Department recently squared off against the Dedham Police Department in a charity hockey to raise money of the Animal Rescue League.The second annual "Battle of the Badges" raised roughly $2,000 for the Animal Rescue League.The firefighters earned an 8-7 victory over the police officers.Both departments enjoyed a tightly contested tilt in front of many cheerful fans.The game was played on Nov. 13.
