Traditions Of Dedham Names New Resident Care Directer

Ashleigh Polvado will now serve as the the community's Resident Care Director.

DEDHAM, MA - LCB Senior Living, LLC, owner and operator of Traditions of Dedham at 735 Washington Street in Dedham, MA, is pleased to announce the selection of Ashleigh Polvado as the community’s Resident Care Director. “My goal is to get to know each and every resident, and assist in any way possible,” says Polvado regarding her new position.

The community includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Reflections Memory Care options for local seniors.

Ms. Polvado is a licensed Practical Nurse who attended the Community College of Rhode Island, where she studied Criminal Justice and Nursing. She obtained her license in Practical Nursing from Tri-County Regional/Vocational School in Franklin, MA. Following her graduation and receiving her LPN, she held a position at UMASS Medical as a nurse at MCI-Cedar Junction for several years. She decided that she wanted to try a different type of nursing and then worked at Epoch of Norton Skilled Nursing Facility, which sparked her interest in elder care. Prior to working for Traditions, she held a position as a Wellness Nurse for Golden Pond Assisted Living in Hopkinton. Ashleigh currently resides in Plainville, MA with her husband Matthew and stepdaughter Abigail.

Independent Living residents at Traditions of Dedham have private apartments with a kitchenette and bath, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three nutritious meals prepared and served “Anytime Dining” style on-site, fitness center, available laundry and cleaning services, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted Living residents have all of the above, along with assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing medication reminders, and other services.

The community also includes LCB’s renowned Reflections Memory Care services for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.

All programming was developed in collaboration with the Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

LCB Senior Living was founded in 2010 by the management team of the former Newton Senior Living, LLC (NSL). NSL was one of the first assisted living developers and operators in Massachusetts, and was the 16th-largest assisted living company in the United States when it was sold to a division of Lazard Freres in 2005.
