1. 'Compost: Make it, Use it, Love It' at Ames Free Library

Today at 6:30 p.m.:

Featuring Todd Sandstrum of the Easton Agricultural Commission. Free and open to all.

From backyard three-bin composting and warm composting to tub composting - come learn the differences, how to use the systems and what to do once you've made the compost. This class will take you step by step on the best uses for this black gold. Compost teas, soil drenching and foliar feedings will also be covered.

2. Envision Easton First Forum Tonight

The public is invited to participate in the Envision Easton First Forum on Wednesday, April 24 in the Richardson School cafeteria.  Registration will take place from 6-6:30 and the forum will begin promptly at 6:30. This will be the first public input meeting in the Envision Easton process- the community’s first opportunity in over 40 years to create a town-wide comprehensive master plan.
