Easton Obituary: Bruce Moffitt

Bruce Moffitt, 49, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness.

Born on June 17, 1963, a son of Warren Moffitt of Easton and the late Edna J. (Comer) Moffitt, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

Bruce began working as a mechanic at the age of 18 for his fathers business, Warren's Service of Brockton and later became the owner of the business upon his father's retirement.

He later went to work for Waste Management as a driver and for the past 10 years he was employed by UPS of Brockton in the warehouse division.

In addition to his father he is survived by his fiancé, Gayle White of Marshfield; and his maternal grandmother, Frances Comer of Canton; he was the father of the late Paula Jean Moffitt.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
