Easton Obituary: Valerie J. Keyes

Valerie J. (Bartlett) Keyes, 70, a longtime resident of Easton, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 with her husband by her side at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Raymond Keyes for 32 years.

Born in Quincy on December 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Frank and Daghne (Johnson) Bartlett, she was raised in Pennsylvania and Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School.

Valerie was employed by John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston for 34 years, working in the security administration division. A resident of Easton for 32 years, her activities and hobbies included square and round dancing, spinning wool, raising rabbits, animals, and camping.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she is survived by several cousins.
