Elderly Man Fatally Hit By Car While Crossing Street In Easton
The crash occurred on Foundry Street, where an 84-year-old man was struck by a car traveling westbound, police said.

EASTON, MA — An 84-year-old pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car while attempting to cross the street in Easton, police shared in a news release Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Foundry Street at around 6:45 p.m Sunday, when Michael Ginsberg of Easton was struck by a car traveling westbound, police said. He was treated by officers and fire personnel on scene before being taken to the hospital, where he later died, according to the department.
Ginsberg was attempting to cross Foundry Street in front of La Familia restaurant while walking home when he was struck by a Hyundai driven by a 24-year-old Brockton resident, Chief of Police Keith Boone wrote in the release.

No charges have been filed yet against the driver, police said.
Foundry Street was closed from Five Corners to Poquanticut and South Streets for several hours after the crash.
