The 26-year-old suffered a skull fracture, a broken pelvis and multiple bone fractures and lost a huge amount of blood, her mother said. She also needed her right leg amputated and is at risk of losing her left leg as well.

"At this time, we are in desperate need to get her med lifted and have a time limit," Margo Abouzeid wrote. "We need to get her home soon so she can get better and have the greatest recovery. She needs to be transported with the ventilator and we only have 1 week to make this possible."
