Police Log: Breaking and Entering on Foundry Street, Car Vs. Deer

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Nov. 18

At 1:50 p.m., a resident reported that they paid a contractor to do work on the home that was never done. Police advised the resident that this was a civil matter. 

At 5:43 p.m., a person reported hitting a deer on Depot Street. There was minor damage to the vehicle and no report was necessary. 

Tuesday, Nov. 19

At 8:08 a.m., police received a report that items were stolen from a landscape company trailer on Depot Street. 

At 12:42 p.m., a caller reported a possible breaking and entering into her daughter's home on Foundry Street. The caller saw a tall white man wearing a black jacket with red on the back, a black cap, and blue jeans, running west on Foundry Street. When police checked the house, the kitchen door was kicked in but nothing appears to have been stolen. Police checked the area of Shaw's Plaza off on Foundry Street but were unable to locate the suspect. He might have left the area in a white minivan.
