Potential Human Remains Found In Easton

EASTON, MA — Authorities are investigating the discovery of potential human remains in Easton Wednesday afternoon, according to the Easton Police Department.

A resident found the remains in a brook adjacent to their property in the area of 100 Summer Street, after which the area was secured while the scene was processed by investigators, police said.

The remains have since been collected by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which will confirm whether they are in fact human.

No additional information was immediately available.
