At least one resident who was home when Easton's Foundry Street fire broke out escaped injury.
EASTON, MA — At least one resident escaped injury in a condominium fire on Foundry Street in Easton on Wednesday. The fire broke out around 2:50 p.m. at Fox Run Condominiums. Two homes were affected, and each home had one resident living there, fire officials say. At least one of those residents was home at the time, but no injuries were reported in the fire.
Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames, which were seen in the Camden Building at 15 Foundry St. Wednesday afternoon. They then worked for just more than two hours to overhaul the scene, fire officials say.
Both residents living at the two affected condominiums are temporarily displaced until full power is restored to those homes, the Fire Department stated Wednesday evening. None of the residents required medical attention, the fire officials stated.
