Cape Cod Business Continues Aid Efforts After Florida Hurricanes
Agway of Cape Cod is continuing to collect supplies for Florida residents affected by the recent hurricanes. Here's what to know.

CAPE COD, MA — A local Cape Cod business is continuing its aid efforts for Florida residents who've been affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Earlier this month, Agway of Cape Cod announced that, through a donation drive at local stores, they collected over $5,000 for The Humane Society of the United States in support of their efforts for pets in the area.
That fundraiser ended on Oct. 18 but, quickly, the business announced it would continue trying to help Florida residents.

Now, in partnership with Barrows Waste, Agway is collecting supplies for residents of the Tampa area.
People can purchase items like toothpaste or diapers locally, and those supplies will be driven to Florida at the end of the drive. Donations are also still being accepted, officials said.

"The response to our new [hurricane] appeal with Barrows Waste has been incredible," the business said on social media. "In just a few days we've raised thousands of dollars to buy supplies that will be sent from Cape Cod direct to Tampa Bay."
Officials said the donations will be driven to Florida on Nov. 1, and the collection continues until Sunday.
Agway is located at 686 Route 134, in South Dennis.
