Cape Cod Coffee, Waltham's Mighty Squirrel Launch Beer Collaboration

MASHPEE, MA — While many breweries and cafés are rightfully making the pivot toward pumpkin-inspired drinks, a collaboration from Mighty Squirrel Brewing and Cape Cod coffee is leaning into the cooler weather with a whisper of summer.

The Waltham brewery and Cape Cod coffee roasters have created Coconut Café, a nitro stout brewed by Mighty Squirrel with a special cold brew from Cape Cod Coffee described as a creamy stout with a tropical twist.

"It’s a collaborative brew that’s light to medium-bodied, bringing together roastiness with a hint of sweetness and a creamy, velvety finish," Mighty Squirrel officials said. "It’s like taking your taste buds on a trip to a tasty coffee paradise."

A release party is scheduled for Wednesday at Cape Cod Coffee's Mashpee location, 10 Evergreen Circle, from 6 to 8 p.m. Samples will be provided and giveaways will take place.

The beer will be available starting Wednesday on draft and in 4pks to-go at Mighty Squirrel's Fenway and Waltham taprooms.
