Cape Cod Marathon Seeks Title Sponsor After SouthCoast Wind Departs
SouthCoast Wind has dropped its sponsorship, leaving the marathon seeking a new title sponsor for the 2025 race.
FALMOUTH, MA — Though the logo on the Cape Cod Marathon's Facebook page still bares the SouthCoast Wind name, the offshore wind company is no longer involved as a sponsor.
Event organizers shared on social media that they're looking for a new title sponsor after SouthCoast dropped from the event.
That move did, however, come just days after President Donald Trump's executive order putting a pause on offshore wind leases.

Still, whether or not politics motivated the company to halt its sponsorships, Falmouth Running Club officials are still in the market for a new sponsor.
The 48th running will be held Indigenous Peoples’ Holiday Weekend, Oct. 11-12. Events include a marathon, half-marathon, marathon relay, "Chowdah Challenge", "Lobstah Challenge", a 5k and a Kids’ Fun Run.

The event annually brings over 4,000 runners and their families to Falmouth, officials said.
