Cape Cod SWAT Standoff Ends In Arrest
A person barricaded themselves in a Cape Cod home over the weekend, resulting in a multi-hour standoff.
FALMOUTH, MA — It appears that a multi-hour SWAT standoff on Cape Cod ended without injury over the weekend.
At 3:58 p.m. on Saturday, the Falmouth Police Department said a person had barricaded themselves inside a home on Teaticket Path.
Police and the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council’s SWAT Team were on the scene for multiple hours as negotiations with the person were ongoing.

The public was asked to avoid the area, though officials said the public wasn't in danger.
At 6:20 p.m., police said that the suspect was safely taken into custody.
