Car Crashes Into Cape Cod Bait Shop, Causes 'Heavy Damage'
A 100-year-old man drove into Maco's Bait & Tackle in Bourne. No one was injured in the crash.
BOURNE, MA — A Cape Cod bait shop suffered heavy damage when a 100-year-old man crashed into the front of the store.
Around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Bourne Police and Fire responded to multiple calls reporting a vehicle crashed into the 4 Barlows Landing Rd. storefront.
The preliminary investigation showed a 2003 Toyota Camry, operated by a 100-year-old man from Bourne, crashed into the building. The unit was unoccupied at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported, police said.
