Falmouth Planning Board Approves Condo Complex At Nautilus, Dome
The proposal calls for an over-55 residential development at the site of the Nautilus Motor Inn.

FALMOUTH, MA — The Falmouth Planning Board on Tuesday approved the site plan for a proposed residential complex at the site of the Nautilus Motor Inn and Dome in Woods Hole. The proposal from Woods Hole Partners LLC and Cape and Islands Engineering calls for an over-55 residential complex consisting of 39 units in five buildings and four affordable rentals in two duplexes.
The board approved the plan amid concerns from the town's engineering department. Planners attached a stipulation that an occupancy permit will not be granted until town engineers give it the okay, according to the Cape Cod Times.
The project will also need approval from the Historical Commission and must seek re-approval from the board once the Dome is restored and a use for it has been determined, the Times reported.
