Falmouth Updates Staffing At Local Beaches As Summer Season Ends

While most of Falmouth's beaches remain staffed at this point, four beach sites will go unstaffed until next year's season.

FALMOUTH, MA — The summer season is coming to an end and, in Falmouth, that means you'll start to see less people at the beach.

With that understanding, the Falmouth Beach Department has begun to update staffing levels at the 10 town beaches.

As of Thursday, four beach sites will be unstaffed until the beginning of the next summer season. They are:

  • M.B.L.'s Stoney Beach
  • Megansett
  • Woodneck
  • Mill Road extension at Surf Drive

Three town beaches will be staffed with parking attendants, but won't have lifeguards moving forward. They are:

  • Grew's Pond at Goodwill Park
  • Bristol
  • Falmouth Heights

Four town beaches will remain staffed with both parking attendants and lifeguards. They are:
