Fire Destroys Cape Cod Shed, Home Not Damaged
Officials are investigating the cause of the early morning fire, but no injuries were reported.
FALMOUTH, MA — An investigation is underway after an early morning fire on Sunday on Cape Cod.
A neighbor of a home on Hill and Plain Road in North Falmouth reported a fire at 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, stating that a pool house was on fire at the adjacent property.
Three fire engines and a ladder were dispatched to the home. Upon arrival, officials found a fire in the backyard of the main house.

A storage shed and portions of a pergola were on fire but, after quick work by officials, the fire was extinguished by 1:37 a.m.
The shed and contents were a total loss, and the pergola and some poolside furniture were also damaged.
