MA Murder Suspect Possibly Spotted On Cape Cod: Police

The man is wanted on a murder charge relating to a 2024 shooting in New Bedford.

MASHPEE, MA — A man wanted for a summer 2024 New Bedford murder was possibly spotted on Cape Cod recently.

The Mashpee and Mashpee Wampanoag Police Department were notified of a possible sighting of Raymond Albury, 27, on April 30. Albury has an active arrest warrant for murder.

The possible sighting was on Meetinghouse Road in the area of the Tribal housing complex. Police searched the area, but Albury wasn't found.

Albury is considered armed and dangerous by police.

According to a MassLive report from 2024, Albury is charged with the murder of Nicholas Miller, of Bridgewater, after Miller was shot outside Sebastian's Bar in New Bedford on Aug. 17, 2024.
