No Injuries, Minimal Damage In Cape Cod Garage Fire
An accidental fire caused only small damage to a Falmouth home this week, but no one was hurt.
FALMOUTH, MA — No one was injured in a Cape Cod garage fire this week, local fire officials said.
Falmouth firefighters responded to a home on Harris Hill Road around 2 p.m. on Tuesday after a neighbor noticed smoke and flames in a garage across the street.
Officials found a small fire in a refuse container that had been partially extinguished by a homeowner with a garden hose.

The area was wet down and an interior wall between the garage and the home was checked for any additional problems.
No one was injured and the home suffered only minimal damage, officials said.

The cause of the fire was ruled accidental.
