CAPE COD, MA — Outer Cape Health Services has announced the appointment of Irene Hammer as its new Director of Development.
Hammer’s extensive experience includes more than two decades of developing fundraising strategies and securing major gifts for health care organizations throughout the Northeast. Most recently, she served as the inaugural Director of Development at Boston’s Harvard Street Health Center, directing its first-ever capital campaign aimed at constructing a stand-alone health center.
She also served as Executive Director of Development for Emory Healthcare’s neurology and neurosurgery departments and Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta. Additionally, Hammer was Senior Director of Development at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School.
