“Uva Wine Bar brings an innovative and enjoyable option to Mashpee Commons,” said Krysten Kelliher, marketing director for Mashpee Commons. “We’re excited to welcome Uva to our community, where it will provide a new kind of dining and social experience that enhances our varied dining options.”
Uva Wine Bar provides a unique self-serve wine tasting experience with 48 wines available in 2, 4, or 6-ounce pours. Selections include popular varietals from California, Europe and South America, as well as limited offerings of reserve wines, which can be sampled in smaller portions.
Guests use a “smart” wine card to select and pour the wine of their choice, with a limit of 18 ounces per hour.
Beyond wine tasting, Uva Wine Bar’s menu offers customizable charcuterie boards with an assortment of meats, cheeses, olives and crackers. The menu also features handcrafted flatbreads and home-made desserts, designed to complement the wide range of wines available.
The new Mashpee Commons location builds upon the success of Uva’s original wine bar in Plymouth, which has gained popularity across the South Shore and attracts customers from as far as northern New England.
“Mashpee Commons is the ideal spot to cater to both tourists and local residents with Uva’s unique offerings,” said Katy Thayer, owner of Uva Wine Bar. “It’s an experience of discovery as much as it is a shared social experience. Mashpee Commons is central to the Upper and Mid Cape, which is convenient for vacationers during the summer months as well as local residents year-round.”
