Demolition Completed for New Fenway Triangle Mixed-Use Development

The final remants of the Goodyear Tire, Subway and Fenway Car Wash that once stood on Boylston Street are gone, as construction crews have completed their final demolition to make way for the new $315 million Fenway Triangle project.

The $315 million, 700,000 square foot mixed-use development will include 300 apartments, 230,00 square feet of office space and 165 square feet of retail space. A Target store is currently slated for the site, according to the Boston Business Journal. 

Samuels and Associates, the project's developer, has planend two phases for the ongoing construction at 1325 Boylston St. and 132 Brookline Ave. The first phase, to build an apartment tower and an office space tower, will be finished by 2015.

Construction will include two new buildings at 1325-1341 Boylston Street and 132 Brookline Avenue and will replace the low-rise buildings and parking lots.
