Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department invite Boston residents to participate in the free Pics in the Parks winter photography workshops takingplace Sundays through March 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Individuals of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in these informal workshops.
Participants will learn techniques for taking impressive photographs of Boston’sscenic parks as well as be given a theme to focus on each Sunday. The winter photography workshops will be held in various Boston parks with remaining dates and locations as follows:

- Sunday, February 17 Jamaica Pond Boathouse, Jamaica Plain
- Sunday, February 24 Kelleher Rose Garden, Back Bay Fens
- Sunday, March 3 Tennis Courts, Porzio Park, East Boston
