Police: Fenway Man Charged with Beating Up a Woman on Peterborough Street

A Fenway man was charged with beating up a woman on Tuesday, May 21.

Boston police officers responded to a report of a fight at 45 Peterborough Street at about 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21. 

Officers met with the caller who stated that a man beat up her sister and the police needed to deal with the situation.

The officers went into the apartment and met with the victim, who said that she and a man were in an argument that turned violent when she told him to leave.

She told police that the man choked her until she couldn’t breath, bent her wrist back and smashed her head against the wall. The victim told the police that the suspect threatened to kill her if she called the cops.

The police arrested Bryan Harris of 45 Peterborough Street and charged him with assault and battery.

The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for further evaluation.
