The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. A Bay State Road resident was taken into custody for allegedly assault a woman during a fight on Saturday night. Boston Police said they responded to a report of an assault and battery on Bay State Road at about 1:59 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. Officers spoke with the victim who told police that during an argument, she climbed up a fence to scare the man she was arguing with. The fence separates the alley way and Storrow Drive. The victim told police the suspect pulled her off the fence and hit her on the arm. The victim also told police that the suspect grabbed her by the throat. Officers reported observing red marks on her neck. A witness said that they observed the suspect strike the victim on the back.
