Police: Pair Used Bat and Umbrella in Argument Over Cellphone
Two people were arrested at the 7-11 in Kenmore Square early on Monday morning.

An argument over a cellphone lead to a fight with a bat and an umbrella at the Dunkin Donuts in the heart of Kenmore Square on May 20.
Boston Police responded to a report of a fight and a hold up at about 4:30 a.m. at 530 Commonwealth Ave.

According to reports, officers arrived on the scene and witnessed the male suspect holding a bat and the female suspect holding an umbrella.
Officers talked to the victim, who said that a male and female had entered the store, and the male demanded to know where his phone was.

The employee told police that this is a re-occuring issue where the man would charge his phone in the outlets at the convenience store. When the employees said that they did not know about the phone, they claimed that the suspect threatened to kill them.
An argument ensued between the employees and the two suspects. The victim told police that the male suspect struck him with the bat and the female suspect struck him with the umbrella.
Officers arrested Peter Brewer of 40 Howland Street, Roxbury and Nekia Grayson, who is homeless. Both were charged with assault and battery with dangerous weapons.
