Report: Closing Arguments Expected Friday in Harvard Guard Shooting Trial
Devone Suber pleaded not guilty to one count of murder in June 2013.

Prosecution testimony is complete and the closing arguments of lawyers are expected Friday in the trial of 29-year-old Devone Suber for the May 3, 2013, fatal shooting of Harvard University security guard Maiqui Hernandez and the non-fatal shooting of a young woman inside a Prentiss Street building.
Suber has been in custody since that May 2013 date, after the Boston Police Department arrested him for unlawful possession of a firearm. A complaint charging him with murder was issued the following month, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said.
Suber pleaded not guilty to one count of murder in June 2013. Suber was arrested shortly after Hernandez was shot in his own Roxbury apartment on May 3.
