Sports Fans Can Like 'Star Wars' Too
Those who attend the May 4 Red Sox game dressed as a character from one of the films will get to watch the team's batting practice.

Science fiction fans rejoice! Monday, May 4, is “Star Wars” Day, an unofficial holiday dedicated to all things “Star Wars” - and this year, the Boston Red Sox are getting in on the fun.
Some people celebrate the annual tradition by participating in a “Star Wars” film marathon. Others dress up as characters from the iconic movie series, and those who come to Monday’s Sox game decked out in attire get to go in early.

The Boston Red Sox, who started May with a 3-0 series sweep to the New York Yankees, are preoccupied with a different trilogy: triple home games against the Tampa Bay Rays. To echo reply tweets to the ball club’s “Star Wars” post, the Darth Vaders in the stands may end up being more entertaining than the game.
