Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, Feb. 21: Edgerly Playground Meeting
Here's what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting today will be mostly sunny with a high near 33 degrees and wind gusts up to 26 mph.
2. Playground Meeting: The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services invite the public to discuss upcoming playground improvements to Edgerly Road Playground (6 Edgerly Rd.) tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Fenway CDC (70 Burbank St.) The proposed project includes improvements to the play area. 3. Art at Wheelock: Stop by Wheelock today from 1-5 p.m. to see an exhibition of Shirl Fink's digital image and Jim Wright's sculpture artwork. Shirl Fink will be showing a series of digital images based on still-life configurations that are her latest work in a long studio career that has transitioned in processes from fiber techniques, mixed media and painting. Jim Wright will be showing sculptures that are informed by his background in figure painting and portraiture. See here for more information.

4. Jeff Jones at Darryl's: Performing tonight until 11 p.m. at Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen (604 Columbus Ave.) is Self taught musician Jeff Jones, who will play guitar, alto saxophone and piano. See here for more information.
